About Us
Who We Are |
We are the VIKING Division of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps. Our doors opened in August of 2015 and our unit was commissioned as an official unit in the USNSCC in April of 2016. We are generously sponsored by the National Capitol Council of the Navy League of the United States.

What We Do
|
United States Naval Sea Cadets travel to training throughout the year, usually during breaks from school. All cadets must attend a 9 or 14 day Recruit Training. After completion of RT, the possibilities are endless - cadets may choose to explore law enforcement, music, aviation, field operations, STEM, photography, and countless other topics.
Within the unit, cadets will train in military-related topics. Cadets are expected to stay in physical shape, and tests are required to be conducted quarterly. In the short period of our existence as a unit, activities have included a ropes and challenge course, a Discover SCUBA Diving experience, and the chance for all cadets to become First Aid trained and certified. |
Think this is for you? |
Whether you want to enlist in the military, attend the Naval Academy, or don't think the military is for you, the Sea Cadets provides the opportunity to expand horizons and learn new skills. Maybe you'll discover a new calling.
